 Celebrate Pride with First Church UU of Leominster – June 7, 2026
On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM, First Church UU of Leominster warmly invites you to join us for a special Pride Service celebrating the beauty, strength, and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. This uplifting and affirming service will center love, inclusion, and belonging, with a particular focus on supporting and uplifting our transgender siblings. Together, we will honor the courage it takes to live authentically, reflect on the power of community, and celebrate the sacred worth of every individual. At First Church, we believe that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and embraced exactly as they are. This service is an opportunity not only to celebrate Pride, but to stand in solidarity, deepen our understanding, and reaffirm our commitment to justice, compassion, and equality for all. Following the service, all are invited to stay for a joyful Rainbow Brunch Potluck — a time to connect, share stories, and build community in a relaxed and welcoming space. Whether you come on your own or with friends and family, you’ll find open hearts and friendly faces. No matter where you are on your journey, you are welcome here. In a world that often celebrates big, polished, “successful” stories, it’s easy to believe that our own experiences are too small, too messy, or too unfinished to make a difference. But what if the opposite is true? What if the moments that shaped you—the quiet turning points, the challenges you’ve faced, the lessons you’ve learned—are exactly what someone else needs to hear? On Sunday, May 17, we invite you to join us for a meaningful and inspiring service exploring the idea that your story has the power to create connection, spark change, and help others feel less alone. Our speaker is Shay Bradham, author of Activism for Introverts: 9 Simple Ways Anyone Can Change the World. How Sharing Your Story Reflects Our UU Values When we share our stories, we’re not just speaking—we’re living our values in real, meaningful ways:

It’s about taking a breath, stepping into stillness, and opening ourselves to possibility. Hello, friends and community members! We’re excited to invite you to our Community Game Night, hosted by the wonderful Dragons & Crystals group, right here at First Church UU of Leominster. Join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and friendly competition on April 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM! What to Expect Get ready for a fantastic night filled with a wide variety of board games including favorites like Monopoly, Munchkin, Sorry, Risk, and Yahtzee. If card games are more your style, we’ll have various versions of Uno and plenty of playing cards on hand. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun night out, there’s something for everyone! Refreshments Galore We’ll be providing a selection of snacks and beverages throughout the evening to keep the energy high and the fun flowing. Enjoy tasty treats along with refreshing drinks like soda, seltzer, water, and tea as you dive into the games. Family-Friendly Fun This event is a great opportunity for families to come together in a welcoming and safe environment. Ostara is a Pagan festival celebrated on the Spring Equinox, marking the balance of day and night and the return of longer, warmer days. It is named after the Germanic goddess Eostre and is associated with themes of renewal, fertility, and new beginnings. Many modern Pagans celebrate Ostara with rituals, planting seeds, decorating eggs, and honoring the changing of the seasons. We will have a short service followed by an extended Fellowship (with a Potluck!) time. Join us! All are welcome!  Help do some early Spring Cleaning!
We'll be tidying up and getting ready for the Spring! Meet at the church at 12:30 PM and help get the church looking spic and span for our upcoming events!
