"Banned in Boston"

Boston once held the notorious title of censoring books that challenged the status quo. Let's explore that history as we mark Banned Books Week and look for ways to fight the current wave of book bans sweeping the country. We will also take a moment to celebrate soil communion and the autumnal equinox, so bring some earth from your yard or favorite place for the ritual.

Please join us Sept. 22, 2024, at 10:00am in person at 15 West Street, Leominster, or online via Zoom for Special Guest-in-Pulpit and Longtime friend of First Church, Reb Yaakov Trek Reef!

Reb Reef is a natural storyteller who has unique insights to share. You do not want to miss this!

This is our first official church service of the year, and we would love to see you there! Please bring a small amount of water with you to service for our communion. This ritual is uniquely Unitarian Universalist, and best shared with others. We have lots of wonderful things in store this church year, and I am very excited to bring them to you!

I look forward to seeing you!

Blessings,
Stephanie Trudel
